Verkada connector
Verkada connector is a Databricks data engineering capability, introduced August 2026.
The managed Lakeflow Connect connector that ingests Verkada organization audit logs and access users into Databricks with a Verkada organization API key.
- History starts on a specific day: the audit_log table only has events from August 12, 2025 onward, because the Verkada API offers nothing earlier.
- A Verkada API key is tied to its region for life - it works only where its organization was created, and the region can't be changed.
- You hand over a long-lived API key and the connector trades it for a short-lived API token by itself.
Limitations: Incremental ingestion only for audit_log; the users table is a full snapshot every update. Audit events before August 12, 2025 are not available. Column renames or data type changes need a full refresh.
