Outlook connector
Outlook connector is a Databricks data engineering capability, introduced May 2026.
A managed Lakeflow Connect connector that ingests email data from Microsoft Outlook into Databricks through the Microsoft Graph API.
- The whole inbox lands in one table, email_messages - and deleting an email afterwards does not delete it from Databricks.
- A misspelled folder in include_folders is skipped silently, with no error or warning.
- A folder literally named Q1/Q2 has to be written as Q1\/Q2, because the slash is the path separator.
Limitations: Beta. A single email_messages table, no capture of email deletions, no SCD type 2, no generic row filter (use the outlook_options filters), and misspelled include_folders entries are skipped silently.
