Microsoft Dynamics 365 connector
Microsoft Dynamics 365 connector is a Databricks data engineering capability, introduced December 2025.
A managed Lakeflow Connect connector that ingests Dynamics 365 CRM and ERP data into Databricks from the CSV or Parquet exports Azure Synapse Link writes to ADLS Gen2.
- It never calls Dynamics directly - it reads what Azure Synapse Link exports, so a change shows up after Synapse Link's export interval, typically 5 to 15 minutes.
- Picklists arrive as bare integers and multi-select picklists as comma-separated integer strings, so the labels are a downstream join.
- Finance & Operations virtual entities can take their time - a documented known issue says to wait up to 30 minutes for them to appear.
Limitations: Needs Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse exporting continuously, with versionnumber in changelogs for incremental ingestion; missing or deleted export folders or Synapse Link downtime need a full refresh. Deletes arrive only if Synapse Link exports them, attachment file contents are not ingested, Parquet export is Beta, and a pipeline holds at most 250 tables.
