Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines was renamed - Databricks now calls it Lakeflow pipelines, as of 2026.

The declarative framework for batch and streaming ETL pipelines under the four-word name Databricks announced for it in late 2025.

• The entire rename was the insertion of the word 'Spark' into the middle of the old name, with every other word left exactly where it was. 🔗
• The 'Spark' it added was not branding: Databricks had open-sourced the engine to Apache Spark five months earlier, so half the name pointed at a project it no longer owned alone. 🔗
