Lakebase Insights is the current Databricks name, previously Lakebase Advanced Postgres Telemetry (since October 2026).

A background agent that reviews a Lakebase project's telemetry in system.lakebase, on a schedule or on demand, and reports issues and early warnings with a severity, evidence and recommended fixes.

• Every finding comes with a Fix with Genie button, so the agent that spotted the problem hands it straight to the one that talks you through fixing it. 🔗
• Each run bills twice over - for the compute it uses and for the model tokens it spends reading your telemetry. 🔗

⚠ Limitations: Beta, and a workspace admin must enable the Lakebase Insights preview. You need CAN MANAGE on a project to configure it and see its findings, and a running compute. Analysis instructions are not configurable, scheduled runs start only after each project is configured, and severity is inferred, so check the evidence before acting. 🔗
