Glean connector
Glean connector is a Databricks data engineering capability, introduced August 2026.
A managed Lakeflow Connect connector that ingests Glean insights (company-wide usage of search, Assistant and agents) and shortcuts into Databricks.
- Half of what it ingests is your company's go links - Glean shortcuts land as their own table.
- No cursor, no memory: every sync replaces the table with the current state, so daily history is something you materialize yourself.
- One token rules both tables - the Glean Client API token must carry both the Insights and Shortcuts scopes.
Limitations: In Beta, switched on from the Previews page. Two tables, insights and shortcuts, both ingested as full-refresh snapshots with no incremental ingestion, no SCD Type 2 and no retained history. One connection uses one token, which needs both the Insights and Shortcuts scopes.
