GitLab connector

GitLab connector is a Databricks data engineering capability, introduced October 2026.

A managed Lakeflow Connect connector that ingests repository, project, group, CI/CD and security data from gitlab.com into Databricks over OAuth U2M.

  • It offers 28 source tables in the default schema.
  • Some tables come with a price tag: vulnerabilities and compliance_frameworks ingest only from GitLab Ultimate, epics only from Premium or Ultimate.
  • It sees what its user sees - only the groups and projects the authenticating user is a member of, and only on gitlab.com.

Limitations: In Beta, switched on from the Previews page. GitLab SaaS (gitlab.com) only, no self-managed instances. Ingests only the groups and projects the authenticating user belongs to, and epics, iterations, vulnerabilities and compliance frameworks need a paid GitLab tier.
