Box Audit Logs connector
Box Audit Logs connector is a Databricks data engineering capability, introduced October 2026.
A managed Lakeflow Connect connector that ingests enterprise audit events from Box into Databricks.
- It only signs in as a server: Box Server Authentication with Client Credentials Grant is the one supported method, and user OAuth is not on the list.
- Rename a column and it records a breakup: the new name arrives as a new column and the old name is treated as deleted.
Limitations: Beta. OAuth M2M (Box Client Credentials Grant) only; no SCD Type 2, no API-based row filtering, no schema evolution for data type changes, and a column rename lands as a new column plus a deleted one.
