• This deprecation has real teeth: leave your init scripts on DBFS and the cluster flatly refuses to start until you move them somewhere governed. 🔗
• Legacy global init scripts were switched off for every workspace on September 1, 2023. 🔗
• The cluster-named kind ran on whichever cluster shared the script's name and was best-effort, silently ignoring its own failures - and the API switch that turns it off is candidly called enableDeprecatedClusterNamedInitScripts. 🔗
