Cortex Code (CoCo)

Cortex Code is a Snowflake developer experience capability, introduced February 2026.

Snowflake's agentic coding assistant, available in Snowsight, in a CLI and in the VS Code extension, for SQL and Python development against your account.

• Snowflake's own release notes use the product name and the nickname interchangeably, so the same feature ships as Cortex Code and lands in the changelog as CoCo. 🔗
• It went from preview to general availability in Snowsight in about five weeks. 🔗
